The Mfecane was a group project and presentation for an African Civ class in college. The presentation briefly describes what the Mfecane was and its effects on Bantu societies.

This presentation summarized the book Ain’t No Makin’ It by Jay MacLeod. It looks at two groups of teens in a low income neighborhood and what becomes of their aspirations. This was created for an education class I was taking for my BSEd in History.
Propaganda Webquest
This is a Webquest for students to investigate the history of propaganda. Students follow the directions, learning how to research and determine what is and what isn’t propaganda. They will hopefully come away with the knowledge of how propaganda was used, and how it is still used today.
A Hip Hop Industry
This paper, titled “Tryin’ to Make a Dollar out of Fifteen Cent: The Emergence of Hip Hop as an Industry” was written for a Business History class. It focuses on the creation of an industry of the hip hop culture. It uses the legendary Def Jam Records as a case study.
